I grew up an hour’s drive from the ocean but we did not eat much seafood growing up. When I married a man raised on Korean food (heavy on seafood) it was an awakening. The first time Jonathan brought me home to meet his parents his mother cooked a stingray for dinner. I’m not kidding…
Snapper is one of my favorite fish to eat but I don’t get around to making it all that often. When I found this recipe for Seared Snapper with Mango Avocado Salsa it occurred to me I should rectify that! I think you will really enjoy what Joanne does to snapper over at Fifteen Spatulas. It’s a perfect dish to eat out on the patio before we lose the lovely summer weather!
