Life is short and full of hard work.  Sometimes you just need to play a little!  This is a fun and silly weekend breakfast I surprised Jonathan with this week.  It’s simple.  I used a delicious Naan bread, eggs for eyes, thick cut black pepper bacon and a fresh strawberry nose out of my garden.  I warm up the bread while everything else cooks, assemble on a tray and deliver breakfast in bed.  The more you laugh together in marriage, the easier your marriage is.  It seems like a little thing, but it’s so important.  And yes, this made Jonathan laugh.  It’s also a fun breakfast for kids.   Have fun surprising somebody you love this week!!!

Are you looking for a more grown up breakfast option?  This Creme Brulee French Toast Casserole is a home run and pretty darn easy to boot!

Creme Brulee French Toast Casserole is assembled in minutes the night before and bakes up into a luscious, sweet caramel-flavored custard around the bread. It is perfect for company, birthday breakfasts, and special occasions in general. It is the perfect combination of creme brulee and French toast. Children and adults will rave about this wonderful treat.
